My 14 years in a Senior Advisement career has focused on helping older adults and their families navigate the complex world of senior living, home care, downsizing and moving, selling a home, estate sales, elder law, financial guidance, and more.  My profession of navigating the "senior maze", with its unexpected twists and turns, began with my own personal experience helping family members and friends.  I have learned over the years how extremely overwhelming it can feel trying to make the best decisions for yourself or your loved ones.  I started Triangle Senior Specialists to create a clearer path for seniors and their families on their journey to become informed about options and resources.

I enjoy cookouts with family and friends.  I'm a huge Carolina Hurricanes and Durham Bulls fan and truly enjoy attending games with my wife and son.  We have 1 dog Dino that loves his daily walks and he's a big fan of his walks at the mountains and the beach.   

With 16 years of experience in the senior living industry, I have dedicated my career to supporting and enriching the lives of older adults.  For my first 8 years, I taught senior fitness classes at various assisted living and memory care communities, helping residents stay active, healthy, and engaged.  I then spent 8 rewarding years in marketing an active adult community, where I had the privilege of building lasting relationships and creating vibrant experiences for our senior residents.

Now, I'm thrilled to join TSS, where I'll continue my passion for guiding seniors as they explore and choose the best senior living options for their next chapter.  It's especially meaningful for me to work alongside Richard Hiatt - a person I've known and deeply respected for many years.  His integrity, compassion, and commitment to excellence inspire me, and I'm proud to be part of a team that shares my values.

Combined family of 5 children and 2 dogs.  A house is not a home without a dog!  I love the mountains and the beach.

 I have 15 years of experience as a social worker for seniors living independently, those needing assistance in a community or requiring resources at home, and an advocate for residents of skilled nursing facilities and memory care units.   My passion is helping others, and social work has allowed me to do just that.  I look forward to the opportunity to provide support to you and your family!

I am a mom and wife in a house with 4 boys, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. I adore children and animals, and enjoy reading and watching movies.    

As a dedicated mom of two, I bring both heart and experience to my work at Triangle Senior Specialists. For the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of assisting seniors in a variety of ways within their homes and within senior living communities. That journey has strengthened my passion for helping others feel informed, supported, and cared for. I’m excited to grow into my role as a Community Outreach Specialist, where I can connect with families, build meaningful relationships with businesses, and help seniors find the home that truly fits their needs.

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me spending time with my family, reading, or traveling!

 It is a privilege to work with such a trustworthy company and team. While working in the Triangle for over ten years as publisher of a senior magazine, I met some of the finest folks in the industry.  During that time, I watched Richard Hiatt work tirelessly to serve senior families through many outlets. 

I enjoy assisting seniors and their families in understanding the various types of senior communities and senior resources that are in place to support them. 

FUN FACTS:

I play the piano and love to dance.  I also thoroughly enjoy my involvement with community theatre.

I'm a big time ACC Basketball Fan!

I've lived in Guilford County for 30 years and have worked in Senior Living Services since 2014.  I worked for 8 years in a retirement community offering care management services to future residents. I've also worked in home care and at an adult day center for people with dementia, meeting with families who are making quick decisions during uncertain times.  

I have a passion for helping older adults find resources to make informed decisions about their next steps. I'm excited to be joining Richard's team to offer advice, advocacy, and support to older adults and help them navigate through the maze of options. 

FUN FACTS: 

I have 1 daughter, who will be off to college before I know it. I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family, going to the beach, volunteering at the local food pantry and supporting animal rescues. Ask me about my beagle, Louie!
